Global Warming is an issue that concerns many people in our current society with increased CO2 emissions from various industrial pollution sources. Educational efforts have been made to instruct students in the importance of conservation and the use of renewable resources. Visual arts provide an alternative means of communicating scientific concepts. Through this unit, we would like to create opportunities for students to construct increasingly complex original works of art reflecting personal choices and increased technical skill as they move to mastery of global warming, solar energy, and the greenhouse effect.
