MRL accounts are available to facutly, postdoctoral researchers and graduate students active within our interdisciplinary research groups. MRL accounts are NOT required to access the wired or wireless networks, use the printing facilities, or present in our seminar and conference rooms. The wireless network at the MRL requires a UCSB NetID. No exceptions. A UCSB NetID is created when you begin your affiliation with the university and is based on your campus directory entry. Visitors not present in the campus directory cannot use the wireless network. To apply for an MRL account, please pick up a account application form from Linda Hall in MRL 3102 or download the form here as a PDF file. MRL email accounts are subject to the University of California Electronic Communications Policy. The UCECP addresses your rights and responsibilties on the MRL email system. |
