TEMPO Computing Microscopy & Microanalysis Polymer Characterization Spectroscopy X-Ray

In order to send and receive email with your client, (i.e., Outlook, Thunderbird, Eudora) you must first configure your incoming and outgoing mail servers.

To retrieve your INCOMING mail, configure your client to use IMAP as the server type. (POP is not supported)
Set ic.ucsb.edu as the server name. The IMAP server requires SSL and connects on port 993.

Your OUTGOING SMTP mail server is ic.ucsb.edu. The outgoing SMTP server requires username and password, and connects on port 465 with SSL.

Remember, if you can't get your client configured, you can alway use the webmail interface at http://webmail.ic.ucsb.edu
