This newly available XRD is outfitted with a Position Sensitive Detector and an Anton Paar sample heating stage.  During a run samples can be heated to as much as 1600°C. The XRD is a theta-theta configuration and is setup for powder samples. Samples may be run under vacuum or in air. This instrument is physically located in the MRL chemistry lab.
