Please find detailed information about the presentations and a

This year our focus is on technology-enhanced curriculums.
Join your colleagues as we explore web-based applications, computer
simulations, virtual field trips and other activities to motivate and boost student learning.
The presentations will focus on “Enhancing Biology Lessons with
Interactive Simulations” for a biology-based curriculum;
“Teaching the “ i-Generation” Earth Science: A Brainstorm
into Multiple Learning Modalities” for earth science teachers;
and a presentation on “Functional Materials: Theory and Application”
for physical science teachers. After these presentations we will
discuss current and future directions in education outreach here
at the MRL. Our guest speaker this year is Professor Michael
Chabinyc, who will speak about “Sustainability and Energy: Harnessing the Sun”.
