Jennifer Gardy has done a lot in the name of science communication, from floating in zero-gravity to drinking vodka shots in a freezer in a bikini. In her adventures in television, writing, and the traditional academic circuit, she's learned a lot about what makes for effective and engaging science communication. In this talk, she'll share some of her insights, including tips for giving scientific talks and how to create unique pieces of science media.
