1. Problem Sets and Notes for Lectures will be available on the Web at http://www.mrl.ucsb.edu/~edkramer/Materials101. Paper copies will NOT be handed out.
  1. Homework sets will be distributed every Friday via the Web. They are due the following Friday at the beginning of lecture. A box monitored by a T.A. will be at each door to receive them. T.A. office hours have been set up in anticipation of "urgent care" on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but you are encouraged to get a head start on the homework. Late homework will not be received unless permission has been granted, in advance, by the instructor. Graded homework will be available in class on Wednesday after it was submitted. Solutions will be posted on the Web after the homework has been turned in.
  2. While study groups are encouraged, you are expected to work out and write problem set solutions individually. Copying answers directly from classmates will not help you learn the material, is patently obvious to the graders and will be grounds for referral to the Committee on Student Conduct.
