Three to five, 5 minute quizzes will be given in lecture throughout the quarter. The primary purpose of these quizzes is to ensure that you are keeping up with the material and to provide the instructor with some feedback on your grasp of the material. The dates of these quizzes will not be announced. The lowest of these quiz grades will be dropped but if you miss a quiz, it can not be made up, i.e. if you decide to blow off a lecture and it turns out there was a quiz, you have used up your "free pass".
