Dr. Nancy C. Stoffel
After graduating with distinction in
Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia,
Nancy Stoffel worked as a process development engineer for IBM
in its electronic packaging laboratory in East Fishkill,
NY. During her time at IBM she found time to get an MS in
Chemical Engineering at Columbia after work. Following her PhD
studies at Cornell, she joined Xerox Corporation in Webster, NY
(near Rochester) where she
currently has responsibility for ensuring the reliability of the
next generation of Xerox ink jet printers. She is married to
Shawn Haarer and they have a two year old son, Eric.
