Isothermal Titration Calorimetry
The ITC measures heat flows during molecular interactions as liquid sample is injected and mixed into a cell.
Surfactants, macromolecules, pharmaceuticals, enzyme kinetics, binding affinity
Measurements
Nano ITC directly measures, via the differential power between the reference cell and the sample cell, heat evolved or absorbed in liquid samples as a result of titrating precise amounts of reactants. The data processing software can use fitting models to calculate reaction stoichiometry (n), binding constant (Kh), enthalpy (ΔH) and entropy (ΔS).
