Dr. Alan J. Heeger Fellowships

In recognition of the pioneering achievements of Nobel Laureate Professor Alan J. Heeger to polymer and materials research at UC Santa Barbara, the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) and Materials Research Laboratory (MRL) are pleased to announce the establishment of the Heeger Fellowships. The Heeger Fellowships are designed to assist graduate students and post-doctoral researchers to attend a conference to present their research and further develop their professional network. The typical award will be $500-$2,000.
