The UPLC-MS system combines separation and mass analysis to determine chemical composition of compounds.

Environmental monitoring, food safety, Additives, impurity identification

Achieve stunning separations and accurate masses with the Waters Acquity H-class Ultra High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) system coupled with a Waters Xevo G2-XS Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer. With an electrospray ionization (ESI) source, the ToF MS can provide mass data up to 100,000 m/z either operating with the UPLC or independently, and signals can be optimized by operating in resolution or sensitivity mode. Whether you want to resolve the parent ion or its fragments, using increased collision energy, both results can be collected, providing your desired quantitative or qualitative results. High resolution (10 ppm or less) can also be acheived with a special calibration.
