Our morning activities will feature curriculum presentations and activities led by MRL RET teacher-interns (for descriptions see below) with other presentations by UCSB Materials research scientists to apply towards STEM education, including biomaterials, soft robotics, and flexible photovoltaics.  A featured speaker is UCSB Materials professor and MRL diversity officer Angela Pitenis, and we are also excited to announce Matthew Huber as a remote speaker, Matthew is the lead scientist at algaeresearchsupply.com, a group whose mission is to educate the next generation of scientists in the tools that Algae provide for climate change mitigation.
