RET at Gold Coast Science Network meeting
MRL RET teachers recently presented at the Gold Coast Science Network meeting on February 7, 2026, highlighting how advanced materials and biotech research can transform K-12 STEM instruction. Our RET teachers showcased their incredible K-12 curriculum—from story-based biotech lessons on infertility, and hands-on electricity and Morse code activities, to an "Engineering the Perfect Gummy" hydrogel challenge. Proud of our teacher interns for bringing high-quality scientific concepts to their students!
