The Future Leaders in Advanced Materials program (FLAM) Program is sponsored by the Materials Research Laboratory and the UCSB College of Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Science and engineering students from universities across the country acquire research experience in a variety of exciting fields through these internships. Interns meet regularly to share their experiences and report on their progress. Our research interns often present at conferences such as SACNAS, SHPE, ACS, APS and others.
